Here we had two sit-ins for the absent Eva Fernandez and Clint Springer. Neither liked their opening dish -Mairelle's Butternut Squash Soup- and neither seemed to mind the punishment of sitting there until it was finished, which it wasn't.

I think they are still sitting in the chair, where we will find them next year.
ReplyDeleteThe soup was excellent, by the way. I think the the difficulty here was that neither of our stand-in guests had working opposable thumbs or mouths that weren't sewed shut. It was a lose/lose all around.
